(December) 2014 in Review

I decided to put up a ‘lil “year in review” that I've seen a couple other people make (even though I didn't really do a lot of stuff all 2014, oops).

Definitely one of the highlights of 2014 was helping out in Asylum Jam. I worked with a bunch of amazing people and completed an amazing game called Saving Zoey. I’m not sure if I'm going to pursue another one this year, but we'll see!

Also, I just launched my website! r-bit studios has a fully functioning website that will house WIP, my GUI art, and complete games! Be hella excited for what’s to come!

Now onto 2015!

This year, I really want to get some games out there. I'm planning on completing a couple jams, just to get my name out there, ya know? I've also got a couple story ideas in my brain, but right now they're just concepts. Hopefully, I can solidify them into writing a produce a couple twine-based game.

Another big thing I want to work on this year is my art, specifically GUI. I feel like my artistic side is leaning towards that the most, so I want to develop those skills and create some awesome sets that someone will actually want to use (lolz).

Since I'm a beginner, I'm going to make my 2015 resolution to be networking with other game makers out there. Network a little, learn a lot, that sort of thing. Here’s to a great 2015!

Asylum Jam 2k14

This past Halloween, I had the honor of working with some AMAZING people to create a horror visual novel in 48 hours.

"In Hell" GUI Set

Cue the satanic fanfare, it be my first GUI set y'all.
